Fishing the Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve

Beyond the three crown jewels of Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon – the Snook, Trigger Fish, Jack Crevalle, and Barracuda among other species will keep your weary casting arm in action.

The lodge boasts six new custom state-of-the-art pangas complete with new 50 HP motors with a unique two guide per boat ratio available to ensure you get onto every available fishing opportunity during your time on the flats.

The adjacent Espiritu Santo Bay is one of the top Permit fisheries on earth and experienced anglers will have the chance for many daily shots, particularly if you align your visit with best months and tides.

If you can cast proficiently and choose to target Tarpon, you have a very good chance on the locals, ranging from 15-90lb. One of the local guides associated with the lodge is a well-known Tarpon and Snook specialist so you also have the opportunity to fish further south in the revered coastal lagoons for trophy fish.

Equally with Bonefish plentiful in good sizes in the Bay, your Grand Slam is firmly in sight and likely to only be limited by time on the water, your casting and a light dose of luck.

Lodge Accommodation

The lodge is absolute beachfront, only 30m from your awaiting panga.

There are six bedrooms – a maximum total of 12 anglers if you’re booking the entire lodge. Rooms can be configured as double or single, all with air conditioning, high speed Internet, private bathrooms and all with a friendly welcome to greet you each morning.
